Best of British: London Network Scaffolding LTD Completes Work at Burberry's Regent Street Store

London Network Scaffolding LTD have successfully completed the erection and dismantle of four separate ADAPT System Scaffold Towers for their client; Premier Technical Services Group Ltd (PTSG) at Burberry’s flagship store on London’s iconic Regent Street.

The ADAPT System Scaffold Towers were erected for PTSG engineers to work on a hidden mechanical arm within the store’s ceiling which control the many live shows that the store hosts. The works were carried out over one nightshift once the store had closed to the public.

Burberry, established 1856, is an iconic British luxury brand, recognised globally for its innovative menswear, womenswear, childrenswear, accessory, beauty and fragrance collections. Burberry Regent Street is the largest Burberry store in the world. A space where the digital world meets the physical, the new Burberry store welcomes you to try on clothes in front of a mirror that transforms into a screen. Upon entry into the store, a huge screen complete with speakers and stage is there to welcome you. The store host live acoustic sets, showcasing the best of Britain’s new emerging artists. The store was designed with such events in mind and boasts an auditorium-like space that was formerly a cinema and can hold up to 1,000 gig goers.

“It has been an absolute pleasure to work alongside PTSG on this project for one of Britain’s most recognised brands; Burberry. Using the ADAPT Scaffold System we were able to erect and dismantle the access towers efficiently and within the five-hour timeframe given by our client.” - Gary Flynn (Director)
