The Ambassador Hotel, Bloomsbury

London Network Scaffolding LTD are currently providing scaffolding to two sides (front and rear) of London’s 4-star Ambassador Hotel, Bloomsbury.

The contract is to provide scaffolding for window and roof repairs plus façade pointing. The hotel has remained open throughout the ongoing works due to the provision of a scaffold protection fan to the front elevation over glass canopy entrance allowing residents to access the hotel safely.

The rear scaffold is a lot more challenging due to restricted access and obstructions in the form of the hotels services (air conditioning units etc.). An alarm system has been fitted to the full scaffold through our new scaffold alarm suppliers; Panthera Security.

The designated loading bay area situated between a busy bus stop and public crossing has thrown up its own difficulties with heavy public traffic throughout the day. London Network Scaffolding LTD’s logistics management team were able to overcome this through clever scheduling and liaison with the local authorities.

“It’s pleasure to be working with The Ambassador Hotel on this project. We have been able to overcome many of the logistics obstacles associated with the contract through using the in-house knowledge and expertise of our workforce. This has proven invaluable.”Paul Spraggs (Contract Manager – London Network Scaffolding LTD)

Located in the fashionable Bloomsbury district, this 4-star hotel offers bright, stylish rooms, an Italian restaurant and a chic bar. Location is key, Oxford Street, Covent Garden and Soho are within easy reach and the hotel is just a 5 minutes stroll from Euston Station, King’s Cross St. Pancras Station (Eurostar Terminal) and Russell Square tube station.
