King's College Hospital: Get on Board!

London Network Scaffolding LTD’s continuing works at London’s iconic King’s College Hospital (KCH) have rapidly progressed over the past two months.

After the completion of the hospitals helideck, LNS have concentrated their works on striking the supporting scaffold and lift shafts whilst erecting scaffolding for the high level accommodation unit.

Meanwhile, the McLaughlin & Harvey ‘Get on Board’ health, safety and wellbeing roadshow tour officially landed at KCH.

The bus visited 10 sites across Scotland and England before arriving at KCH, beginning with Abbotsinch Retail Park, Paisley and ending at King’s College Hospital, London where LNS operatives utilised the health initiative.

On board there was an occupational health nurse who performed lifestyle health checks, including blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol, alcohol and smoking awareness. The bus is part of McLaughlin & Harvey’s You Matter campaign, as well as the Scottish Government initiative Healthy Working Lives.
