Event Stage: Crown Road Community Street Party
This year the famous Crown Road Summer Fair has turned into the Crown Road Street Party, to celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday.
All of the shops and small businesses of the area, have decided to put on this extra special event this year so it will be like nothing you've seen before.
To celebrate this wonderful milestone we've decided to do something different so you'll experience the following and lots more:
Over 20 new ‘never been seen before’ stalls — all of whom can't wait to delight you with what they have to offer.
With mouth watering food stalls, great shopping opportunities for the adults and magical stalls where the kids can spend their pocket money, there’s something for everyone!
They're bringing a wonderful mix of entertainment to the village: 6 fabulous bands on the main stage who will have everyone dancing; An entire children's area where we'll be going back in time and bringing the kids together with activities such as: the egg and spoon race, apple bobbing, coconut shy and finishing the day with a tug of war. And with a petting zoo for the little ones, entertainment for all with Punch and Judy and stilt walkers and jugglers walking up and down Crown rd – it’s sure to bring a smile to your face.
The aim of the event is to bring everyone together to celebrate this wonderfully patriotic day, but also to help make our community stronger. It will be an event where we show off our new branding and enable the community to help support us to put on more events to delight everyone who lives here.
As ever; London Network Scaffolding Special Projects Limited will be providing scaffold advertising stands and towers for the St Margaret's Traders Association.
Please do come along, rain or shine to support us — as we know you will have a wonderful time regardless of the weather.
We look forward to seeing you there!
